Sterling Silver Freshwater Cultured Pearl Bracelet
This sterling silver bracelet features two 11 to 13mm white freshwater cultured circle pearls.
Bracelet is secured with an Infinity clasp.
Like south sea pearls which occur naturally in oysters, freshwater pearls occur naturally in mussels. Freshwater pearls are farmed in varieties of freshwater mussels such as Hyriopsis & Cristaria whose shells can produce up to 100 pearls simultaneously. Freshwater pearls are not marketable in their natural state and do require some artificial enhancements. However, new farming & pearl enhancement technology has enabled the freshwater pearls to be produced in a more rounded state and in an array of colors. Instantly appealing, their luminescent depth rivals naturals because, they are pearls throughout, and the price-value anomaly is obvious to consumers.
